Residential Solar Panel Installation

Custom-designed solar systems for Central Valley homeowners. Own your panels, own your savings.

Solar That You Own From Day One

At Solar Center by Dura-Foam, we believe in true solar ownership. Unlike companies that push Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) or leases, we design and install systems that you own outright — putting all the financial benefits in your hands.

Every installation starts with a detailed analysis of your home's energy usage, roof orientation, and shading patterns. Our engineers design a system sized specifically for your needs, using premium, high-efficiency panels and inverters.

As a division of Dura-Foam Roofing & Solar Center, we bring over 40 years of California roofing expertise to every installation. That means your solar system is integrated with your roof — not just bolted on top.

Solar Installation FAQ

How long does solar installation take?
The full process from consultation to activation typically takes 6-10 weeks. The actual installation on your roof usually takes just 1-3 days. Most of the timeline is for permitting and utility interconnection.
What size solar system do I need?
System size depends on your electricity usage, roof space, and energy goals. Most Central Valley homes need between 6-12 kW systems. During your free consultation, we analyze your utility bills and design a system sized specifically for your home.
Do I need a new roof before installing solar?
If your roof is more than 15 years old, we recommend evaluating it first. As a division of Dura-Foam Roofing, we can handle both your roof and solar in one integrated project, saving you time and money.
What happens on cloudy days?
Solar panels still produce energy on cloudy days, just at reduced output. In the Central Valley, we enjoy over 270 sunny days per year — one of the highest in the nation. Your system is designed to account for seasonal variations.
What is net metering?
Net metering allows you to sell excess solar energy back to the utility. When your panels produce more than you use, the surplus flows to the grid and you receive credits on your bill. This helps offset energy costs during nighttime and cloudy periods.
